This is an excellent introduction to St Brigit from an author who has written and worked extensively on the subject of female seers in the fourteenth century. From Julian of Norwich to Catherine of Sienna these women made a mark on 14th century life, famed for there spirituality and visions driven from a life of extreme starvation and deprivation.
