Margaret Harvey has done more than most to shed some light onto Adam's story. Her work focuses more on the latter stages of his life when he joined a thiving ex pat community of Englishmen in Rome. It is undoubtedly dry material aimed at the academic world, but it is nonetheless the nearest Adam has come to receiving a full biography.
